Its hard to believe it has been two years since the start of Grimsby Pipework and Engineering Ltd. What began as a small team with a big ambition has grown into a busy workshop, great partnerships and projects that they are really proud of.
GPE Ltd want to thank their amazing team, loyal customers and everyone who has supported their journey along the way.

Grimsby Pipework & Engineering Ltd is a reputable fabrication engineering company based in Grimsby. With our extensive experience and expertise in the field, we have established ourselves as a trusted provider of high-quality pipework solutions for various industries. Our History
Where it all began for GPE
The original Grimsby Pipework and Engineering actually started life as 'The Grimsby Plumbing Company' which was incorporated in February 1907, then after many successful years trading the company changed hands in the 1960's.
Throughout the decades GPE changed hands and eventually its final original owners was Mr Michael Jex and his company L.E.S in the early 2000s which then evolved into Jacobs and finally Worleys as it is today. Unfortunately, during this time it was decided to retire the name of Grimsby Pipework and Engineering GPE which has laid unused for the last 20 years, until now.
The Grimsby Pipework and Engineering name, now re-launched, established in 2023 as a new company. Daniel Cremen, was in fact one of the final apprentices to finish from the original GPE and has now become one of the directors of the new GPE.
GPE are now the premier provider of services to industry inclusive of pipework, fabrication, welding, sheet metalwork and mechanical works with a focus to invest in the local community, entrust local tradesman and apprentices.
